Why a fast site matters
· 1 min read

A fast site is nicer to use, ranks better and convinces more.
The basics
- Static pages: the server delivers ready-made HTML, with no computation.
- No external fonts: system fonts mean no extra requests.
- Light images: modern formats such as AVIF and WebP, sized correctly for every screen.
- Little JavaScript: only what is really needed.
How it is measured
The main indicators are LCP (speed of the main content), CLS (layout stability) and INP (responsiveness). A good site keeps all of them in the green range.
